Faber Hoods & Cooking Systems will merge with Franke Kitchen Systems

The Franke Group announces that in the next months the Faber Hoods & Cooking Systems division will be gradually merged with Franke Kitchen Systems, creating a new division that will be active from January 2021. The aim of this operation is to consolidate and further strengthen Franke’s leadership position in these segments in the long term. As an effect of this reorganization, important changes are announced on the Group’s Board.
Barbara Borra, President and CEO of Franke Kitchen Systems and member of the Franke Management Board, will take the responsibility for the new division. Chemical engineer, she joined the Group with the current position in January 2019; previously he held the position of CEO Emea in Fontana Group. Before this experience she has worked in Whirlpool for 10 years as Vice President of the Global Food Preparation Category and was General Manager for the branches in China. Ettore Zoboli, Faber President and CEO and member of the Franke Management Board, will leave the Franke Group in late August to take on new challenges.

Barbara Borra, President and CEO of Franke Kitchen Systems, will assume the responsibility for the division that will result from the merger of Faber Hoods & Cooking Systems with Franke Kitchen Systems.
