Hakan Bulgurlu, CEO of Arçelik, has been elected new president of APPLiA – Home Appliance Europe, the trade association based in Brussels representing the household appliance industry in Europe and carries on the mission of the producers in the sector that operate promoting European lifestyles.
For the next two-year term, the new president has announced that he will focus on promoting the sustainability plans, giving impetus to the fight against climate change and decarbonisation, involving industry, the business community and giving APPLiA a stronger and more relevant global voice from the sustainability point of view.
