From the first washing machine, born in 1945, to the simply-Fi appliances range, remotely controlled with a simple App. This is the long story of Candy Elettrodomestici, founded in Monza (near Milan) as Officine Meccaniche Eden Fumagalli, and still owned by the Fumagalli family, that has celebrated the 70° birthday of the company with a special event in the Villa Reale at Monza. The celebrations were also the occasion for Candy to reveal its strategy for the future, based on the identity, clearness and consolidation of its brands, especially Candy, Hoover and Rosières, with the usual focus on the products innovation. During its long activity, the power of the company has always been the ability in understanding all the history changings: from the after war to the economic boom with all the social changings. Subsequently, the globalization, the crisis and the technological revolution: Candy has always found the way to create concrete innovations to improve the home life. A real 100% made-in-Italy company, driven by a strong family identity. Recently the Group has created a Connectivity Unit, with marketing experts, Information and technology operators and electronics engineers to develop connected appliances.

The rich company’s brand portfolio includes: Hoover, Iberna, Gasfire, Jinling, Hoover-Otsein, Rosières, Süsler, Vyatka, Zerowatt, Hoover-Helkama, Hoover-Grepa and Baumatic.
