Whirlpool Asia, Jim Peters takes Wu’s responsibility

Shengpo (Sam) Wu, retired from his role of executive vice president and president of Whirlpool Asia, and will continue to serve in an advisory role, remaining the vice-chairman of Whirlpool China Co. Ltd. Upon Wu’s retirement, Jim Peters, executive vice president and CFO of Whirlpool Corporation, assumes responsibility for Whirlpool Asia, in addition to his current role.
