Corporate Responsibility Magazine (CR Magazine) has named Whirlpool Corporation among the Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens in 2019. The publication’s list honors the top 100 U.S. public companies in the Russell 1000 Index for outstanding environmental, social and governance (ESG) transparency and performance. «We’re honored to be recognized as a Top 100 Best Corporate Citizen. This year, Whirlpool Corporation ranked No. 96 on the list, with its highest scores in the categories of Governance, Financial and Environment.
During this year, the company has also received a recognition as One of the World’s Most Admired Companies; has been ranked No. 3 in the Reputation Institute’s U.S. RepTrak 100 list; has received Perfect 100 score on the Corporate Equality Index for 16th consecutive year and obtained recognitions as 2019 Best Employer for Diversity and 2019 Top Employer Europe, for the second year. The 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking is based on 134 total corporate disclosure and performance factors in seven categories: climate change, employee relations, environment, finance, governance, human rights and stakeholders and society.
