The sales trends of Gorenje’s products during the first quarter of 2016 is expected to be positive. As forecast, the positive sales trend from last year’s fourth quarter extended into this year’s opening months. Sales of major and small domestic appliances were up 8.4 percent relative to the last year’s comparable period, while total Group sales in the period grew by 6.5 percent. Gorenje realizes an entire range of home products of the upper-mid price range, and owns the brand Asko, which is positioned as a global premium brand. In addition, Gorenje Group has six regional or local brands covering all price ranges.
