Miele

At EuroCucina Miele is presenting one of its more interesting innovation: a kitchen composed by completely handle-free ovens, steam cookers and combination units. It is the ArtLine collection and is equipped with a light tap on a hidden sensor, perfectly sufficient to unlock the door before it gently glides down into the horizontal position. «Where kitchen and living room meet, there is always a call for elegant, clear and puristic forms’, says Miele top designer Andreas Enslin, ‘and with ArtLine we meet this market need more consistently than any other manufacturer.» Thanks to its smooth glass fronts with their integrated displays, the ArtLine design is sleek, flush and blends in seamlessly with all types of cabinet fronts. The handleless kitchen appliance range can be perfectly augmented using models from the current Miele portfolio which also dispense with handles, switches and buttons: coffee machines, hob units, warmer drawers, vacuum-sealing drawers, wine storage units, various refrigeration products and Knock2open dishwashers’. On the latter, only available from Miele, the door opens automatically by gently tapping twice on the front.
Built-in appliances in ArtLine design are available in brilliant white, obsidian black and, new to the range, a graphite grey tone. The market launch of ArtLine built-in appliances is planned for the summer of 2016.
