Internet of Things (IoT) and smart solutions for the home were protagonist at the last edition of CES, where many important manufacturers presented the latest news of their production. The exhibitions displayed the most recent innovations in the last generation of home appliances, able to connect with smartphone and tablet and to work with a great autonomy. Samsung, for example, offers the public a new category of IoT appliances that connect families and make life easier. Among the products showed at CES, the company presented the Family Hub Refrigerator and the FlexDuo stove, equipped with wi-fi. Lg, instead, proposed a robotic vacuum cleaner, that work in a special area selected by the user with the smartphone. The Whirlpool smart news focused, then, on the washing, but with a special charity option. With the company’s smart top load washing machine and dryer, any cycle the user does he will automatically send a small amount of money to Habitat for Humanity. Next edition of CES will be held in Las Vegas from 5-8 January 2017.
