Yannick Fierling has been nominated managing director of Haier Europe and will manage the company headquarters in Paris. Haier Europe is a global brand with more than 143,330 distributors and is present in 100 countries. In 30 European nations, the company has 8 local offices: in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, Russia, Benelux and Poland. In Nuremberg, Germany, Haier has the central R & D site, while the production plants are based in Italy (Campodoro), Russia (Tatrstan), China, Thailand and India.
The French Fierling takes the place of René Aubertine and is the second European manager to drive Haier Europe. The nomination responds to Haier strategy to become one of the most important home appliances player in Europe.
Fierling has a long experience in the sector, having spent 15 years working for Whirlpool as Fabric Care general manager and vice president of Whirlpool EMEA.
