Logo “Elected Product of the Year”: a tool for international visibility

The logo “Elected Product of the Year” is one of the most popular and well known by consumers around the world. It is an award on innovation for products sold on the Italian market, based on the votes of consumers. Companies subscribe to award their most innovative products and more than 12,000 consumers vote for their favorite products through an online market research. The logo, present in more than 35 countries, is a tool that allows to know the opinion of the consumer on the products. In addition, it values ​​innovation and amplifies the visibility of the appliances because, for one year, it can be used in the main channels of communication (eg, packaging, internet, TV, radio, point of sale, sales materials, media, fairs etc). Consumers easily recognize the logo, placed on the products in the shelf. According to a survey by the research organization IRI, 8 out of 10 consumers would be more likely to buy a product that exposes the logo “Elected Product of the Year” because more reassured.
Among the products elected in 2014, also appear three small household appliances: Philips PerfectCare Expert iron (withlogo2014 Optimaltemp technology that automatically optimizes steam and temperature, the Easy Decalc decalcifying system and the energy saving function), the window vacuum with handle by Leifheit (with stand-by sensor which allows to aspirate only when the device is in contact with the surface and autonomy of the battery 30′) and The Sub, the new machine to tap beer at home, developed by Heineken in collaboration with Krups and created by the designer Marc Newson.
