Poggi will drive the Hoover SDA division in Italy

Candy Group announced the nomination of Mirko Poggi as new Head of the Hoover Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) Italia division. In the new role, the manager will lead the Italian SDA sales and marketing team, with the aim of developing the business and increasing the market share. Target of Candy Group is the achievement of 2 billion euros in the coming years, with the performance of all its business area, that also include Washing, Built-In and Cooling. Born in 1970, Mirko Poggi has a long professional experience in the Information Technology sector and Italian retail distribution channels, having had the position of Lenovo’s Country General Manager from 2012 to 2017, during which he led the Italian division market share from 2.4% to 18% decoupling the turnover.
Previously, Poggi had covered positions of responsibility in the sales and marketing sector of IPS SpA., following then his professional career in Hewlett Packard Italia, with several important positions.
