Norbert Schmidt is the new vice president products & brands of Whirlpool EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), reporting to Esther Berrozpe Galindo, president of Whirlpool EMEA and executive vice president of Whirlpool Corporation. Before to be assigned to this new position, Norbert Schmidt was general manager of the Refrigeration Business Team in North America. He spent more than 13 years at Whirlpool, building a significant managerial experience in the kitchen, refrigeration and cleaning markets, dealing with product development, merchandising, marketing, operations, supply chain and engineering. «I am excited – he said – to take on this new challenge and I look forward working with the team to further develop Whirlpool products and brands marketing strategy, helping strengthen and consolidate our leadership and extend the expertise in the Internet of Things.
