Elica will be partner of Nicos International for the eighth edition of Cristalplant Design Contest, the contest where young designers are invited to create new solutions and concepts using Cristalplant as basic material. Elica has already experimented it with success in the creation of its YE hood, designed by Fabrizio Crisà, that was the first hood realized with this material. All the projects can be presented until February 29, 2016 and the winners will be awarded next April during the week of 55th Salone del Mobile in Milan. Two winners will be selected: one for the young designers category (born after 1/1/1981) and the other for the senior designers category (born before 1/1/1981). The prototypes will be presented at Eurocucina 2016, with the possibility of creating a product in collaboration with Elica Design Center to be included in the edition 2018 of the company’s catalog.
