Whirlpool Italy: close to the agreement

The social parties and Whirlpool have signed an agreement that, if confirmed and approved by the workers, will avoid the closure of the Italian plants. The first information about this operation has been referred by the labor unions. With the agreement the plants at Carinaro (Caserta province-Campania region) will not be closed and incentives will be given to the employees for being relocated to other plants such as Naples and Varese.
