As a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic, Euronics International replaced its usual international event of July with a virtual and interactive one held few days ago, a choice that offered the Group the opportunity to better reflect on their successful approach to the emergency. The virtual event was attended by senior representatives from international suppliers and group members from over 40 countries across the globe.
Euronics International assigned the Supplier of the Year 2020 awards in six different categories intended to honor suppliers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in innovation, quality and customer service. 
The awards were previously assigned in four traditional product categories to suppliers who in Euronics’ view have demonstrated distinguished performance in delivering innovation, superior quality, and outstanding service to consumers. For 2020 the recognitions went to: LG for Consumer Electronics; AMD for Information Technology; Electrolux for Major Domestic Appliances, Groupe SEB for Small Domestic Appliances; Philips for Data Exchange; Electrolux for Digital Partnership.
Suppliers were nominated across all categories by the 26 Euronics Group Members after which a short list, and eventual winners, were chosen based on quantitative analysis and input from a team representing all areas of the global organisation.
