In agreement with the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Hisense Gorenje donated 10,000 healthcare protective masks from its stock, and in the coming days the company will, with the support of the parent company Hisense in China, supply additional protective materials and equipment that is urgently needed in Slovenia and is currently lacking due to the coronavirus outbreak. The supply of protective materials and equipment will also be arranged by the People’s Republic of China, which has already offered assistance through their Embassy to Slovenia.

«In January, when faced with a similar situation in China – explained Gorenje’s chief managing director Chao Liu – Hisense Gorenje also assisted in the supply of protective masks, only in the opposite direction, we sent them to China. With the help of numerous Slovenian and European suppliers, we have been able to provide enough protective equipment for our colleagues in China, for which I would like to express my gratitude to all who helped make that happen. The situation has turned and now Slovenia needs help, so it is right to return the favor and we will do everything in our power to provide as much healthcare protective equipment for Slovenian health workers through Hisense as possible.»
