Candy is among the protagonist of the ADI Design Index 2018 with its washing machine Bianca.
The exhibition is dedicated to the best design products launched in recent years. Through a multimedia exhibition that collects and expresses Italian production excellence in the design sector, the ADI Design Index is a pre-selection of products that will be competing for the “Compasso d’Oro” award, the prestigious recognition of Italian design: after the success of the exhibition in Milan, hosted from 16 to 21 October in the prestigious setting of the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology, the exhibition will stop in Rome from 21 November until 5 December at the Roman Aquarium, allowing consumers to appreciate the Italian excellence in the design sector.
Bianca, an advanced washing machine equipped with intuition, has been judged by the members of the permanent Observatory of Design ADI (a panel composed of 100 experts among researchers, specialized journalists and designers) one of the most interesting products launched on the market in the last year, thanks to its clean and appealing image that combines with the qualities and premium features. Thanks to the “Talking Bianca” function it is possible to converse with the washing machine through the smartphone – through the Candy Simply-Fi App – through a natural and smart dialogue: Bianca helps the user in choosing the most suitable program, memorizes favorite programs and provides valuable advice for washing. Moreover it is controlled with the Smart Ring interface, a single circular touch display, with a typically Italian design and creativity, through which user can activate and combine all the main programs and options with one touch.
