Virtual reality is one of the most promising technology in many contexts. According to Deloitte, it can help organizations with product and process design, virtual collaboration, and experienced-based learning. The increase of the applications of these new tools brought to the creation of several new devices and solutions, both for consumers and for business uses.
As Deloitte underlines, also Forrester has predicted that the adoption of mid- to high-end VR headsets will reach 52.3 million by 2020, increasing substantially from today’s market of approximately 11 million. Currently the main obstacles that remain are linked to computational power, pricing, security, and user perception, but VR market alone could reach up to 48.5 billion dollar by 2025. Zion Market Research also published a report forecasting the significant growth of this sector: the global virtual reality (VR) market is expected to reach approximately 26.89 billion dollar by 2022, growing at a CAGR of around 54.01% between 2017 and 2022.
