On the occasion of Eurocucina 2018, the Japanese company Sanwa Company will present the new concept “The Impact of Compact”: a collection of “compact” kitchens, an expression of the best cutting-edge Japanese technology. This new collection has the merit of combining the usual contemporary and minimalist design, typical of the tradition of the Rising Sun, a design research that involved important names in Italian design. These include Alessandro Mendini, an international designer who has impressed his creativity and his poetic and playful mood in AM 01. A 120 × 72.8 × 210 cm monolith that contains functional elements – sink, small rooms, extractor hood, faucet, oven – that become invisible thanks to the closure with decorative doors, a bearing detail of the project.
