Bompani more and more efficient and technological

New important projects for the Italian Bompani, manufacturer of kitchen appliances with a turnover of over 30 million euro, 200 workers and a wholly made-in-Italy production. The company has announced an investment program of more than 5 million euro in the next three years to install 20 thousand square meters of photovoltaic panels to power production and safeguard the environment. Moreover, together with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Bompani will also follow a special project to realize a new kind of oven. The initiative, financed with the contribution of the Emilia Romagna Region and that deriving from the national Industry 4.0 plan of the Ministry of Economic Development, will immediately generate 20 jobs and will bring at least 5 graduate engineers into the company.
The synergy between Bompani and Unimore will allow the transfer the knowledge of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation and engineering, already tested in the automotive and aerospace sectors, to the domestic kitchens ovens to improve performance and cooking results.
