According to The Indian Express, Bengaluru saw a big increase in the sales of large appliances and televisions, as recorded during the Diwali festive season by Amazon India. This is the India’s most important holiday of the year and during these days, the company specifies that the city has seen three times increase in demand of large appliances and televisions compared to the same period of 2016. So Bengaluru has become the first consumer of home appliances, followed by Karnataka. The area is characterized by a strong digital and technological development, as shown by the great number of digital payments, that reach 65% of the total payments addressed to Amazon.
