Whirlpool announces the new Italian sales organization, conceived by the company in order to increase competitiveness and strengthen the brands strategy. With this aim, two different divisions have been created for freestanding and built-in areas, each following the activities of all brands of Whirlpool Italia. These two new structures are complemented by the existing divisions of Whirlpool Italy Small Appliances. Marcello Potenza is the new sales director combined built-in. Previously the manager has been built-in director of KitchenAid, Whirlpool and Ignis brands, to which now he adds Hotpoint and Indesit.
The freestanding combined sales division, instead, is driven by Alberto Di Luzio, formerly freestanding sales director for Indesit and Hotpoint, who will extend its responsibility to Whirlpool and Ignis. Both will report directly to Lorenzo Paolini, AD Whirlpool Italia and VP Whirlpool Emea, who commented the important news saying: «This reorganization is a key step in Whirlpool Italia strategy, guaranteeing our business a structure that, we are sure, will result in the strengthening of our market leadership. I’m sure Marcello and Alberto, with their skills, will be able to drive the business towards full integration.»
