The Internet company Buzzfeed has recently entered the home appliances market with an innovative kitchen product: a smart hot plate with relative app to control it. Its name is One Top and is a cooktop that connects seamlessly with the Tasty app. So it is possible to cook everything in one compact appliance, using many “smart” features. The plate itself is controlled via the Tasty app, adjusting cooking temperature and time based on the recipe selected. With the help of a surface sensor and an external thermometer, the plate can be used for a wide range of cooking methods, from stir-fry to slow cook to sous vide. The products, in fact, offers 1700 recipes and allows to search favorite meals, share ingredient lists, and more and it automatically adjust temperature and power settings to precisely match the recipe instructions.
