The Franke Group, headquartered in Aarburg, Switzerland, acquired the majority shareholding in Elikor LLC, a leader in the Russian kitchen hood market. In this way Elikor will benefit of the know-how of Faber, the Franke Group’s Business Unit, specialist in the manufacturing of high-end hoods in order to further strengthen the position of the group based in Kaluga, Russia. Growing in the hoods sector is one of the main objectives of Franke that, with this operation, will increase the production capacity. Faber is also increasing the research and development activities to propose new solutions in terms of technological functions and design. Thanks to the support of the Russian Federation Agency for Technical Development, Elikor and Faber will contribute to the development of innovative products, in line with the latest technological trends and lifestyle.
