Social responsibility award for Groupe SEB

1971

The ESSEC Business School in Paris assigned its Corporate Social Responsibility Grand Prix to Groupe SEB for Responsible Consumption Industries. The prize was launched by ESSEC’s Chair in Consumer Products in partnership with the French Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Digital. Along with some twenty other companies, Groupe SEB had entered six of the Prize’s seven categories and was nominated in each one: sustainable consumption, carbon footprint reduction, or solidarity, for example, as well as product end-of-life.  It was Joël Tronchon, the company Sustainable Development Vice-President, to receive “Grand Prix ESSEC” award from Christophe Sirugue, Minister of State for the Industry, attached to the Minister of the Economy and Finance.
