Slow growth of white goods in the world


fotolia_87403084The research agency IHS has calculated that the world consumption of white goods in 2016 amounts to 455.8 billion US Dollars. Compared to 2015, the approximate 3.4% growth was scored. Big appliances were around 620 million units.
The production took place in the Asia Pacific area (including also Japan) by 56%, in North America (encompassing Mexico, too) by 18% and in EMEA by 16%.The remaining 10% is subdivided among South America, Africa and the rest of Asia.
