Necchi, historical Italian brand of sewing machines, has signed a five year contract of exclusive license with Twenty, company operating in the consumer electronics market and already owner of Magnadyne and Seleco brands. Twenty will distribute the brand Necchi exclusively on the Italian market for the next five years.
Necchi was born more than a century ago, becoming a very famous and appreciated brand, first with its sewing machines and subsequently also in the small appliances sector, where the company has expanded its range, introducing vacuum cleaners and ironing systems. After the end of the license, Twenty will complete the brand acquisition.
«We are very satisfied – commented Marco Piloni, sole director of Necchi Italia – because we believe that Twenty is the ideal partner to continue to grow of our brand offering to consumers beautiful and functional small appliances and creating value for the entire supply chain.»
«Thanks to this agreement – said Maurizio Pannella, sole director of Twenty – our portfolio of historical brands, Magnadyne and Seleco, is enriched with another prestigious name. Our challenge will be to enhance the Necchi Home Appliances brand focusing on the quality of its small appliances, on the notoriety of the brand itself and an innovative short chain business strategy that will see us at the side of large distribution, buying groups and chains with the aim to grow in reputation, volume, turnover and margins together with our partners.»
