Electrolux announced that Cecilia Vieweg, senior vice presidentand general counsel of the company and member of Group Management, has decided to retire from Electrolux as from December 31, 2016. Mikael Östman, currently head of the Corporate Legal Department, will be her successor. Cecilia Vieweg joined Electrolux in 1999 as senior vice president and general counsel and member of Group Management. Prior to joining Electrolux she held the position as senior vice president and general counsel of Volvo Car Corporation. Mikael Östman joined Electrolux as corporate counsel in 2002. He has held managerial positions within Electrolux legal organization in and outside of Sweden since 2006. Prior to joining Electrolux, he has worked as a lawyer at Advokatfirman Vinge and as corporate counsel at Telia. He holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics and a degree of Master of Laws from Stockholm University.
