Whirlpool Corporation announced the addition of Maytag appliances to the offer of select Best Buy stores, where the brands Whirlpool, KitchenAid and Amana are already available. The full line of Maytag kitchen and laundry appliances are available on BestBuy.com now and will arrive to more than 600 Best Buy stores in mid-April. Best Buy’s Pacific Kitchen & Home stores have always offered Maytag products. «Our goal – explains Kevin Balon, senior vice president of appliances at Best Buy – is to give our customers the best selection of top appliances, and partnering with Whirlpool Corporation to offer Maytag products is the latest example of that commitment.» The same satisfaction is expressed also by Whirlpool management. «Whirlpool Corporation – stated Sam Abdelnour, the company’s vice president aales, North American Region – is excited about the growth that Best Buy is seeing in their appliances division and we believe that offering our full portfolio of appliance brands in their stores can only foster greater success for both companies.
