The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) assigned the 2016 Energy Star Partner of the Year – Product Brand Owner Award to Whirlpool Corporation. It is the 25th time that the company received this recognition for its contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing energy-efficient kitchen and laundry appliances.
