A strong growth characterized the last year for Dyson, that recorded a global turnover of 1.7 billion pound, marking an increase of 26% compared to 2014. Profits reached 448 million, with an increase of 19%. The company’s success was the result of big investments in research & development activities (206 million pound were invested) that allowed to innovate products, processes and technological solutions, developed by more than 2,000 qualified engineers. Last year Dyson launched 17 new products in 5 categories, selling 10 million appliances all over the world. The best performance was recorded in China (+222%) and Asia (+70%), but also United States and Europe closed a very good period for the brand sales. Europe sell-out increased by 38%, with very good trends recorded by Germany, Austria and France. Among the product segments, both advanced vacuum cleaners and air purifiers were protagonist of a strong interest by consumers and of a growing demand.
