The new table lamp designed by Nichetto and Nendo for Foscarini is called Kurage, the Japanese term for the jellyfish, which the product resembles with its slim legs and ethereal body. It is, in fact, characterized by an elegant, soft effect, inspired by the research of lightness in the light. The basis consists of four slender legs in ash wood with a natural finish that emphasize even more the delicate appearance of the lamp. The diffuser is made thanks to a very special processing technique of the three-dimensional washi paper, handmade in Japan. Foscarini is an Italian company, founded in Murano (Venice) in 1981.
