Candy Group has named a new country manager for free-standing products in Italy. The position has been assumed by Alessio Villa, 41 years old, that is now head of sales organization for free-standing products of Candy and Hoover international brands. He reports to Semmy Levit, head of Continental Europe Candy Group. The manager joined the company’s team last year as project manager for the European market, giving a great contribution to the revision of the distribution model for the business relaunch in Italy. Villa had a long experience in the commercial holding positions of increasing responsibility in companies such as IBM and most recently, in Acer, where he was business manager and later country manager for several European subsidiaries.
