Elica is one of the companies nominated in the 2015 edition of ADI Design Index, the yearbook published by ADI – Italian Association for Industrial Design – that collects the best of Italian design, selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory. The selection includes products or product systems, assessed in the context of different merchandise fields, in addition to the theoretical, historical and critical research and the corporate research. The Elica’s hood nominated in the Index is Nuage, designed by Fabrizio Crisà, a model appreciated for its sinuous, discrete shapes. Highly customizable, it offers the option to cover the external panel with plasterboard, tiles or paint, allowing therefore a symbiosis with the kitchen and the living room. It is a filtering hood that can be turned into aspiration hood with back aspiration installation, equipped with intuitive rotary switch and high performance & efficiency motor; lighting by LED strips gives an efficient and natural light effect.
