Foscarini

Foscarini, Italian company of sophisticated lamps, presents Ritratti, a design book that shows a selection of the most iconic lamps of the company, photographed by the three photographers: Tommaso Sartori, Kasia Gatkowska and Andrea Ferrari. A journey within five Italian houses and in the outdoor spaces of Venice, with six different moods, created by the architect Elisa Ossino.
Foscarini has a long story and a great experience in the lighting field. Born in 1981 in Murano island (Venice), it produces design lamps, working with important designers. In 2013, thirty years on from the first collection of lamps, the company opens two new venues in the cities which symbolize contemporary design: Milan and New York. Not simple showrooms, but rather locations that aim to be the spokesperson of the company’s values of innovation and creativity, in which to tell stories and to  transmit emotions.
