N.EX.T., the glass-ceramic hob realized by Smalvic, was prized with the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015. This is another recognition of the design quality of this product, that has already won the iF Design Award 2015 in the Product Design category. Smalvic will take part to the awards ceremony that will be held at the end of June at the Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany.
N.E.X.T. design is signed by brogliatotraverso design studio, founded by Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso. The younger of the two designers, Alberto Brogliato, also received the mention for the innovation of Young&Design Award. Smalvic is an historical company, born in 1958, , that offers a complete range of “Italian Techno Cooking”, thaks to its specialization in advanced household appliances for the kitchen. It is present in 30 foreign countries in Europe, Middle East, Far East, USA, Australia and New Zealand, exporting more that 60% of its turnover.
