Edith, the hood by Elica designed by Fabrizio Crisà, has won the Red Dot Design Award 2015 in the Product Design category. This is the second international prize received by this model, that has already been awarded with the iF Design Award 2015 for its technology and innovation. «Edith – the designer Fabrizio Crisà explains – is total balance: there is no element that dominates the others. The curve, which is the profile of Edith, is wrapped on itself at the bottom: in the design phase I tried hundreds of curves, one only millimeter would have changed the overall look. »
