Five Good Design Awards for SMEG

piano_cottura_ps906_ 0003The Good Design Awards are presented every year by a selected jury of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum – Architecture and Design Museum. They are an international recognition for cutting-edge products in the industrial design, and since 1950 are among the most prestigious awards in the field of design, innovation and aesthetics. During the 2014 edition, 5 Smeg products were rewarded: the concept of the hob with little birds designed by the architect Guido Canali and the 45 cm cellar, both included in Dolce Stil Novo line; the mixer and the toaster of the small appliances collection realized with the architects Matteo Bazzicalupo and Raffaella Mangiarotti of the deepdesign study;  and the 90 cm kitchen with Victoria aesthetic.SMF01CREU_2
