mieleMiele improves its entry-line dishwashers, adding features previously the preserve of models higher up the range. This means better features at a more attractive price. The new models for the most part have an A++ energy efficiency rating and feature top-of-the range baskets and new fascias. In particular, these products present a high-efficiency variable-speed pump which considerably reduces water consumption in combination with the Automatic program (they use as little as 6.5 l of water). “The new entry-line models – explains the company in a official note – now play in the same league as the G 6000 series first introduced last year”. The upgrading equally applies to interior accessories and fittings. The Comfort basket range, for instance, includes a row of hinged spikes, allowing items of crockery and glassware to be accommodated more flexibly. In addition to this, all Miele dishwashers will be fitted with front basket handles for simpler loading and unloading (feature already present on G 6000 models). In terms of design and appearance, too, these entry-line models are being brought further into line with the G 6000 series by for example adopting the same characteristic controls on a intuitive interface. The market launch of these upgraded models is in September 2014.
