Big names of retail and industry took part in the conference organized by Paola Gallas Networking titled ‘Trade: new scenarios for new consumers’, which took place on July 1st at the Milan offices of Deloitte. The massage delivered by the big players in the sector is unequivocal: the distribution of home appliances and consumer electronics has to change direction. Among the recipes identified to go out of the crisis, they unanimously invoked a more ethical collaboration between trade and industry and among the same distribution operators to recover margins and invest new resources in initiatives and strategies that restore appeal to the store. Among the distinguished guests present at the event: Mario Franzino, managing director of Bsh Elettrodomestici and adviser of Ceced Italia, Yves Di Benedetto, managing director of Dps Group, and Stefano Magni, corporate retail senior manager of Samsung Electronics.
