A Product Design Award has been delivered to Whirlpool for its 6th Sense Live laundry pair in the Leading Design Garment Care category. The Get Connected Product Design Awards are assigned to innovative products characterized by advanced technology and outstanding selling points, selected by a judges of experts. In a second phase, the selection of appliances are voted by retailers, distributors and providers of services to the electrical retail industry.
The Whirlpool Supreme Care washing machine (FSCR 12441) and matching tumble dryer (HSCX 10441) can be controlled from anywhere, by the 6th Sense Live app on a smartphone or tablet. It is
available on both iOS and Android and allows the washing machine and tumble dryer dialogue between each other. The app communicates the washer’s current load type and spin speed, and the dryer will automatically synchronize with the washing machine, to set the correct drying cycle, simplifying the laundering process.
The app also guarantees optimum wash results and garment care by selecting the most efficient wash and dry programs.
