An Asko dishwasher model received a special recognition by iF Design, that assigned it a Home Style Award. This is an award, born in 2008, addressed to the household and interior decor sectors assigned by a jury of international experts. This year 60 designs were selected from a worldwide pool of submissions. The Aske dishwasher D5656 was awarded because it meets all assessment criteria such as innovation and elaboration, functionality, aesthetics, responsibility, and positioning.
It also features a very stable and durable basket. The iF Industrie Forum Design launched in 1953 is a sort of mediating arm between design and industry internationally, to contribute to design services and to increase public awareness on the importance of design itself. The iF Design Award contest attracts entries from 35 countries, in 12 categories.
